If you have a daughter under the age of 13 I’m sure you’re well aware of who Hannah Montana is. If you don’t then you’re probably aware anyway but I’ll explain just in case you don’t know. Hannah Montana is an American TV program about a girl who leads a double life. Her real name is Miley Stewart but she is also a Pop star who goes by the name of Hannah Montana. Because of this she sings a lot on her TV program and has released several albums. Hannah Montana songs are fairly popular. She’s never had a worldwide smash hit but sold a lot of successful albums, stared in 4 series of a very popular TV program, 2 films and more merchandise than you can imagine.

Hannah Montana Songs

She is played by Miley Cyrus the daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus who you might remember singing “Don’t break my heart, my achy breaky heart, I just don’t think it understands...” Since her father is also a singer, he features on several Hannah Montana songs. Her style is mostly pop with elements of her country roots and occasionally a little hip-hop mixed in.

The TV show is a comedy program based largely around the idea of Miley Stewart trying to conceal her double life so that when she isn’t on stage singing Hannah Montana songs, she can lead a normal teenage life. This story element was the main focus of her film in which she faces a dilemma of picking which one personality she wants to continue living with. In the end she decides to carry on with both so there haven’t really been any changes between the start of the film and the end.

Some of Hannah Montana Music songs which have been hits are; “The Best of Both Worlds”, “Hoedown Throwdown”, “Butterfly Fly Away” and “Nobody’s Perfect”.

“The Best of Both Worlds” is used as the TV show’s theme music as it tells how the character lives her double life. The song was also remixed for the movie and the remixed version is now used as the TV show’s theme tune.

“Hoedown Throwdown” is the big dance song from the film. It’s lyrics provide the moves for the songs dance. The song is a country style linedancing song with elements of popular music styles from the charts of today.

“Butterfly Fly Away” appears on the movie sound track. It is a duet with her father who sings about bringing Miley up without her mother. In the story Miley’s mother passed away while she was a child.

“Nobody’s Perfect” was written Miley’s father. It was the first single to be released from the second series. This song also features on the Hannah Montana Musical Guitar Hair Brush.

There is a very large selection of Hannah Montana Dolls. I doubt anyone as young as Miley Cyrus has ever has so many dolls made of her. I have to say though that I don’t think there is much difference in a lot of them. I expect they use the same mould and just sell them with different miniature clothing.

Some of the variations of the dolls include the Hannah Montana the Movie doll, based on the clothes she wore during the movie, a singing version, a going out doll and the original doll. Of course there is also a Miley Stewart doll to play with when you don’t want Miley in her pop star guise.
